For many clinicians, giving a successful public talk or workshop is filled with mystery. In this lively workshop, you'll discover the simple essentials of being an effective public speaker, including mastering the art of storytelling, being a multimodal communicator, and knowing how to organize and pace your presentation. Through videotapes, coaching, handouts, and exercises, you'll discover how to use your body and breath to create the quality of personal unfolding that feels natural to you and your audience. In a nonthreatening, enjoyable atmosphere, you'll have opportunities to practice your new skills. You're welcome to bring ideas or outlines for presentations to work on with the group.
