Holding a degree in marine zoology, David Whyte has been a naturalist guide in the Galapagos Islands and has conducted natural history expeditions in Peru, Bolivia, Chile, India, and Nepal. A poet, lecturer, and corporate consultant in organizational development, he's the author of Heart Aroused: Poetry and the Preservation of the Soul in Corporate America and four books of poetry, including Where Many Rivers Meet and Songs for Coming Home.
