Session #: 718-003
Presenter(s): Richard Schwartz
Session Length: 1 hr. 11 min. Event: 2008 Networker Annual Symposium Date: March 13-16, 2008
Richard Schwartz has redefined and clarified what we mean when we talk about our "inner self." A family therapist, he radically challenged the field with his groundbreaking approach to understanding the individual's inner world as a complex, internal family system of many selves or "parts." He's the author of Internal Family Systems Therapy, and coauthor of Family Therapy: Concepts and Methods, the field's most widely read textbook. In his Sunday keynote, he'll explore the difference between observing the mind without judgment and the therapeutic vision of transforming our inner consciousness through a process he calls "Self-Leadership."
