Session Length: 2 hr. 00 min. Event: 2007 Networker Annual Symposium Date: March 15-18, 2007
For centuries, couplehood has been framed as a distraction from the solitary path of spiritual union with the divine. Only recently have we begun to explore how experiencing connection with one's partner can be a means of healing the childhood splits in oneself and opening up to the universal. Using demonstrations and exercises, you'll learn how the Imago Dialogue Process that can be used to quiet inner voices, experience the full otherness of one's partner, and go beyond psychological healing to a shared spiritual awakening. You'll leave the workshop with a new vision of couplehood as an ongoing spiritual practice based not on connection to the solitary self but on achieving a connection to the large whole through the relationship with the "other." (This session will continue with Workshop 325.)
