217 A few centuries ago, Samuel Johnson said that remarriage is "the triumph of hope over experience." Today's statistics would seem to bear him out--60 percent of all remarriages end in divorce. This workshop will explore the decisions stepfamilies must work through if they're to beat the odds against them, including how to handle parenting responsibilities, deal with money, and maintain appropriate connections with ex-spouses. We'll discuss the 5 main contributing factors to the breakdown of stepfamilies and demonstrate interventions that address each one of them.
