603 In the rush of our lives? overworked, distracted, trying to be everywhere at once?many of us feel caught in routines that don't truly serve us. With all of our psychological insight, we know everything except how to live. This workshop will help you approach your management of time as a spiritual practice and a creative act. You'll learn three main sets of skills to discover a new everyday balance in your life: attentional practices, like focusing on the rhythm of your own heartbeat, that will help you stay in touch with your deeper rhythms as you participate in daily life; boundary-making skills, that will protect you from unwelcome intrusions and connect you to the sources of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual sustenance; and decision-making skills, that will help you make sustainable choices about prioritizing activities aligned with your deepest sense of purpose.
