Session #: 715-221
Presenter(s): Hedy and Yumi Schleifer
Session Length: 2hr. 00 min. Event: 2005 Networker Annual Symposium Date: March 17-20, 2005
221 Part 1 -While therapy often helps couples resolve immediate conflicts, they often leave treatment just as constricted and emotionally limited as when they began. This two-part experiential workshop will demonstrate how to identify and move past the developmental blocks that prevent couples from becoming more fully embodied and alive. In the morning, we'll look at the blocks to our own expressiveness as therapists, and how our own development blind-spots are reflected in our work with couples. In the afternoon, a live interview will show how to help partners identify the invisible, limiting beliefs from childhood that are getting in the way of developing a fuller, richer relationship. The focus will be on coaching both partners in a couple to become champions of each other's aliveness and natural exuberance. (This session continues with Workshop 321.)
