208 Many believe that neurofeedback will prove to be one of the most important new learning technologies of the future. It can help clients, literally, learn to reorganize the electrical activity of their own brains, so they can control their level of arousal. It's already been widely applied with a range of disorders, including anxiety, depression, learning disorders, and AD/HD. If you've found the written descriptions of neurofeedback hard to understand, this session is for you. In addition to an overview of the theory and practice of neurofeedback, the presenter will give a live demonstration, complete with a computer, so you can see on screen what's happening in the client's brain. We'll also see a video of neurofeedback in action that illustrates its effectiveness in reducing fear states, developing insight, and promoting attachment.
