204 Change always involves more than a single decision. It's a cyclical and reversible process that proceeds through phases, each of which presents unique challenges and therapeutic leverage points. This workshop will look at change as a 7-step process that's experienced at the level of the mind, the body, and the emotions. The presenter will lead an experiential exercise to chart the course of change from the inner or external challenge through chaos and confusion, to the integration of new resources and the experience of a new state of being. Role-plays will demonstrate how therapists can facilitate this organic unfolding at each stage of the process.
