201 Therapists are known for preferring the intimate sanctuary of their offices to the hurly-burly of the public arena. At the same time, more and more of us in this field are increasingly concerned about the state of the world, and looking for a way to apply our skills in activities that can truly enhance the common good. This session will bring together a group of therapists who can serve as role models for different ways of moving outside of our offices to take on the challenge of better serving our communities and dealing with larger social issues. You'll learn how you might get started in becoming more civically engaged and expanding your sense of mission as a therapist.
