607 As many critics have pointed out, the DSM describes exclusively what's dysfunctional in people. Recently, more solution-oriented models have emerged that focus on clients' strengths. Going a step beyond either of these frameworks, the Enneagram provides a detailed map of the full spectrum of personality, both its dysfunction and inner resources. It describes an explicit and detailed vision of how, given their temperament and personality, each person can move toward fuller self-actualization. This experiential workshop will introduce you to the nine personality types of the Enneagram and teach powerful, type-specific interventions for working with different clients and leading them toward greater integration. You'll come away from this workshop with an efficient system for assessment, as well as a toolkit of skills for creating breakthrough opportunities for clients across the range of your practice.
