619 When we began our therapy practices, all our attention went to just keeping them up and running. By the time we reached mid-career, we may have lost sight of larger issues of emotional and intellectual satisfaction, as well as a sense of the phases that all businesses go through. This workshop presents an eight-stage evolutionary model of practice that offers participants a wider perspective on the developmental issues they face. Using this model, therapists can expand the range of opportunities available to them as small business owners. They will learn the tasks to master at each developmental stage, how to recognize that a stage shift is about to occur, and how to facilitate the move from one stage to the next. Participants will explore specific strategies for dealing with their most challenging business issues, as well as for making their practices more congruent with their core values.
